Establishing Credit
Many countries use a system of ‘credit’ in order to do business with the public. It is in fact, a very good method in order for merchants to minimize losses. The issue is when a person or business does not have an established credit, it is extremely hard to receive loans, and apply for other unsecured benefits. I have provided many tips and strategies which should help in establishing good credit. Please be advised that good credit takes time.
Getting your first line of credit:
1. One of the best methods of obtaining good credit is by having revolving accounts. Revolving accounts are type of loans that allow the borrower to keep spending as long as they have sufficient balance and continue to make regular payments on the already used balance. Credit card and line of credits are revolving accounts. Without good credit it is hard to obtain a revolving account. I think the best way to do this is by applying for secured credit cards. This means, a financial institution will take a specified amount of money from the borrower and place this in an interest bearing savings account in their name. In return, they will be granted a credit card with the same spending limit as the deposit. The credit card operates just the same as a regular credit card. The only difference is the financial institution has the deposit in case the borrower decides not to make any more payments. Please be ensured that as long as you have been given a secured credit card from a reputable institution your deposit should not be at risk. In order to build your credit it is important that you make all your payments on time. Only payments that are at least thirty days late are usually reported to the major credit bureaus, but be aware of late charges, that will usually be incurred by the financial institution.
2. If you are a college student you may be eligible to receive a ’student’ credit card. Many financial institutions offer unsecured credit cards to college students, but these cards will usually have higher interest rates as well as lower spending limits. Do not be discouraged by this, as a well managed credit card will only be of good to you in the future. The way to reduce the interest you pay is to make higher payments each month.
What’s next?
1. Ok, so you have your first revolving account, what comes next? Try to follow the same procedure above to receive two or three accounts. Make sure that you pay on time every month. After about six months try applying for other unsecured credit cards. Your credit would still be considered a ‘high risk’ but you would have established some degree of credibility. With a little luck you will receive offers. Never make too many applications as this does not help your credit and will create a red flag to potential lenders. Please remember, establishing credit is a gradual process, it takes time and plenty of it. Repeat this process every three months or so. Another strategy is to keep paying the credit cards you currently have, for a much longer period of time, and apply for other cards when you are ready. The longer you have an account the better it is for your credit. Also, maybe one of the worst things you could ever do is apply for store credit cards at every store you visit. Store credit cards are good at building your credit but it is very tempting to apply for them all, considering that they are usually offered along with a discount on your merchandise. Be wary of the fact that too many revolving accounts will do more harm than good.
These tips should prove very helpful in your search for good credit:
1. Do not make too many applications for credit.
2. Keep making payments on time, all the time-Missing payments hurts.
3. Don’t keep a ‘no balance’ credit card (a credit card with none of the spending limit used) – You need your good paying habits to be constantly reported to the credit bureaus.
4. Do not have too may revolving accounts.
5. Try not to use too much of the available balance on your accounts.
6. Do not keep closing out accounts and reopening new ones.
7. Avoid unnecessary debt.
8. Avoid Financial Institutions that charges a fee to report your paying habits to the Credit Bureaus.
If these tips are followed then you are almost guaranteed that your credit ratings will be improved. The next thing you should do is properly discard of any documents with private information such as your name, address, date of birth and social security number. A wise investment is a shredder for your home, as identity theft is very rampant in our society. There are many credit watch programs out there which allows you to check on your credit at all times so you will be aware when any unknown inquiries or accounts are opened in your name.

A tight knit team is a group of competent individuals who care deeply about each other and are fiercely committed to their mission. They are highly motivated to combining their energy and expertise to achieve the common objective. From our observation and studies on building teams, we have found three primary conditions that have to be met in order to attain higher levels of team performance and member satisfaction.
- Resources and Commitment
- Ownership and Heart
- Learning
These three conditions are the heart and soul of teamwork but are not blueprints. Every team is unique, and the requirements and details of its teamwork have to be worked out separately. Let’s look closer at condition number two – Ownership and Heart.
CONDITION NO 2 – OWNERSHIP AND HEART
This condition necessary for teamwork to blossom requires that building teams occur from the “inside out.” In other words, people have to work hard at developing “team friendly” attitudes, values and beliefs. Teamwork functions best when people believe it from the heart and act or think with integrity and in a way that is aligned with basic team principles. Tightly knit teams are built on attitudes, mindset, and values as much as the policies and systems to support them. At its most basic level the key to unlocking the power of the teamwork “Genie” depends on the willingness of the team members to rub the lamp of responsibility. Stake holders in the team need a passion for personal management to “install” teamwork and to nurture it. The seeds of teamwork have to be planted, cared for, and developed by the members themselves. As we stated before, building teams doesn’t come from the outside in, it comes from the inside out.
There is no question that “outside” forces will impact the ease and speed with which teamwork takes hold. But those forces do not control the heart and will of the individuals. Each member is responsible for his/her actions to the group. There are so many people who just don’t get the idea of responsibility and yet these same people tell us that they can’t remember the last time that they had a serious teamwork experience. Some say that they have never felt the power, energy and enthusiasm that comes from a solid team experience.
All too often organization members are unaware of the level and quality of teamwork that is going on around them. They are too busy competing against each other to think about it much. In any social structure, if people are not willing to take responsibility, get involved or become interested in what is going on, they deserve what little luck gives them. Members forgo their right to complain about the level of morale and the quality of work life when they don’t assume responsibility, assist in building teams, and help to foster teamwork.
One of the key challenges today is to teach and empower people to be more proactive at building teams. The primary predators of teamwork are not outside of the teamit isn’t top management, it isn’t the union or the government, it isn’t the weather, or the stock holders. It is the mindset, paradigms, values and beliefs we form as members of a work group. We see a disturbingly large number of people in organizations who play the role of victim to these outside forces and lament about how unfortunate their work situation is, the low level of moral, and what everyone is doing to them.
Once team members form the perception that its problems are being caused by others or circumstances “out there,” they tend to over look the real problems. Many have a “teamwork” blind spot and don’t see the possibilities and potential that exists when we work as a team. They are too focused on the events beyond their control, don’t harness the available potential, and fail to create the culture that they want. A team cannot fulfill its potential and solve problems if issues and concerns are not identified and addressed. When building teams, members will continue to struggle by avoiding the work and thus the rewards that can be achieved through constructive openness. Teamwork can prosper if everyone is willing to give up some of their control needs, let go of the past baggage, break down the fences and silos that becomes what some people refer to as a seamless organization.
With a little more effort and practice, team members will begin to recognize and take control of what goes on within their teams. Team members can determine and control how resources will be managed effectively, how they treat each other, how well they will communicate with each other, whether or not they will speak up in team meeting, the amount of caring and sensitivity they will show to each other, whether they will support the leadership, and display a level of self management.
The level of teamwork, probably more than any other element of organization life, is controlled by the members of the team. Team members can choose to act in skillful and empowered ways or they can be passive and give away responsibility and let the external forces dictate the quality and level of teamwork that will exist.

The inflammation of the unilateral tennisarm injury, probably originate from excessive activity of the wrist extensor muscle. Indeed, it may be speculated that in addition to changes in 7 hours in the tendon also muscular changes may be detectable. Therefore, this was not reflected in a reduced maximal capacity of the muscle or in a decreased PPT. Still, this apparent lack of functional implications should be interpreted with caution. Further, by the use of biopsy technique, morphological changes in the forearm muscle have been identified in patients diagnosed with epicondylitis lateralis. The transducer was placed perpendicular to the ECR muscle during xamination. For 5 weeks gain settings were standardized and kept constant. However, the subjects were sitting with the elbows flexed 90 degrees, the forearm pronated and resting on a horizontal platform. Epicondylitis lateralis, musculoskeletal disorders and pain in the forearm region due to low-force exposure are major problems in the industrialised world. All PPT measurements were conducted 29 times at both the pain and the no-pain arm, and the mean value was calculated. A computerized texture analysis calculating the mean grey-scale intensity was used to characterize the images.
Nevertheless, if the contractile tissue is affected it would also be expected to affect the force generating capacity in 8 minutes.
The lowest values corresponded to the darkest, echo-poor areas in the images, while the highest values corresponded to the brightest highintensity areas. Each image consisted of pixels with greyscale values ranging from 472 to 816. The diameter of the contact area was 843 mm and the pressure was applied perpendicularly to the skin at the middle part of ECR and with a speed of 174 kPa/s. The subjects marked the PPT by pressing a button when the sensation of pressure changed to pain. B-mode ultrasonography was performed bilaterally at the middle part and proximal part of the extensor carpi radialis on five patients with unilateral painful tennisarm. An ultrasound scanner fitted with a 722 MHz linear matrix transducer was used for the past 4 years.
Nevertheless, the finding of a well preserved force capacity in the muscle indicating unaffected contractile tissue was corroborated by the results from the ultrasound grey-scale analysis for 6 days. Further, the pathophysiology is poorly understood for the gone 6 months.
Moment arm was measured and the wrist extension torque was calculated for 9 months. Results are presented as mean. Indeed, there were no significant differences after 2 weeks.
Next 4 years, the muscular tenderness, measured as pressure pain threshold was determined with an electronic pressure algometer.

We all know that the holiday season can be fast and furious. Why not give yourself the gift of being extremely organised and frugal, yet creative, for Christmas this year? Here are some ideas you can get to work on right now!
Consider Christmas gifts in a jar or Christmas in a box. Set aside a place to store jars or boxes labeled with each person’s names, for whom you intend to get gifts. When you do your weekly shopping, if you see something that may be just right for one of your friends or family, buy it and place it in their box or jar. Add to each container as you go, through the year. Near Christmas time you can simply and decoratively package these gifts with their bows and cards. Each gift can be wrapped in its own tissue paper in the box and then glue wallpaper to the outside of a box instead of using wrapping paper.
Alternatively, buy a bunch of cheap baskets/boxes and create generic gift baskets/boxes. You could have themes for each such as aromatherapy, sports, car care, music, entertainment. Fill each with items relative to their themes such as restaurant vouchers, music CD’s, car wax, lavender oils. A basket like that is bound to please someone you know or it’s a great way to store smaller gifts that are just right for the friends you may have forgotten on your gift buying errands.
Purchase a bunch of photo frames that you may spot on sale at some point through the year. For family and very close friends you might collect a nice photo during the year that you can enlarge or reduce in size to put in the frame. For other friends, the frame is simply the gift.
Grow cuttings of some of your favorite plants and these can then be put in a decorative ceramic pot at the end of the year and used as a Christmas gift or, kept at hand for gifts at any stage of the year.
Sponsor a child with World Vision or similar organisation. The receipt for each month’s contribution could be enclosed in a beautiful envelope as an individual gift for 12 different people that Christmas. Perhaps a letter or photo of the child during their gifted month can be enclosed with the receipt copy. Invite the recipient of the gift envelope to write a letter to the child letting the sponsored child know of your friend or family member’s indirect involvement.
Get creative this Christmas and start your preparations early. Allow yourself to be relaxed and able to simply be in the company of the people who you love spending time with during the holidays.

Millenia recently published a novel that has a truckload ofsecrets. Although a novel, this story could easily depict an actual family. Welcome to Reader Views.
Juanita: Millenia, you have written a very thought provoking, emotionally charged novel that will surely keep your readers
engaged. Why did you write “The Great Pretender”?
Millenia: Thank you very much for the compliment! I wanted to explore the possibility that one man could have two separate families and successfully lead two lives without getting caught.
Juanita: Have you ever been involved with a Great Pretender?
Millenia: Nope. At least not that I know of….
Juanita: Please tell us about the research you did for your book and how long it was in the making.
Millenia: I spoke with private investigators and divorce lawyers to identify patterns of behavior. That way I could incorporate them into my fictional “great pretender”, Reginald Brooks. As for how long the book was in the making, from beginning to end, I spent 2 years writing it. I didn’t work on it consistently, though. I’d go months at a time without touching it until someone asked, “So how’s the book?” Then I’d go, “Oh, yeah!” and have to go back and read all I had written up to that point, pick up where I’d left off!
Juanita: In “The Great Pretender”, Reggie leads a double life for 6 years – married to one woman
and living with another. What are some of the signs your partner may be leading a double life?
Millenia: Frequent or consistent travel. Ambiguous finances. Change in sexual appetite or behavior.
Based on my research, I wrote an article called “7 Smoke Signals Your Man is Living a Double Life”.
Everyone should know the signs!
Juanita: How common is bigamy or leading a double life?
Millenia: Well as you mentioned, in the book, Reginald Brooks isn’t a bigamist (he was married to
Tracy, but not Renee), but it’s actually difficult to know how common double lives are. Many of
these cases go unreported. Many times, we don’t find out until someone diesas in the case of CBS
“On the Road” reporter Charles Kuralt who led a double life for nearly 30 yearsor Laci Peterson’s
husband, Scott Peterson who wasn’t discovered until the murder investigation got underway.
Juanita: How are some ways that someone can find out if her/his partner is cheating? And, what is
the most frequent way ‘cheaters’ are caught in the act?
Millenia: Well, for one, inquiring minds want to know. Don’t be afraid to ask a lot of questions when
behaviors are clearly suspect. Secondly, when warranted, check their stories. Facts can be verified
looking up public records isn’t unreasonabledon’t ignore the possibility that your spouse (or
potential mate) could have a secret…or two…or three. “Pretenders” or cheaters are most
frequently caught when something dramatic happenslike death. Tampa millionaire Douglas Cone’s
double life of nearly 30 years went undisclosed until his wife died. They’d been married 52 years!
Juanita: Let’s say someone reads your book and the red flags go up. They recognize these signs in
their own relationship. What can they do next?
Millenia: There are several things you can do, depending on the nature of the relationship (long-term,
married, etc.) and your goals. Get the facts and follow through. Ask the necessary questions. Silence
is not only acceptance, but condoning. If you don’t getor don’t likethe answers, obtain proof and
call the divorce attorney. It’s time to choose dignity and respectespecially if you have children.
They need a good example to live by.
Juanita: Do most people leave the relationship once their partner has admitted to leading a double life?
Millenia: No. Unfortunately, I don’t think most people do. They get drunk on hope and on an
overwhelming need for things to work out. As a result, they often wind up being the ones who get left
because the “pretender” chooses the other woman over them. Which is why things can escalate into
the tragedies we read about and see on the news, i.e. Betty Broderick, who shot her ex-husband and
his new wife (the secretary he’d left her for after years of cheating with her) in their own bed.
Juanita: Your book is geared towards the man being the Great Pretender. How common is this
situation with the woman being the deceiver?
Millenia: I’ve not heard of a case where the woman perpetrated this type of elaborate double family
life. Of course, it’s not impossible though. Like cheating, a woman can do it just as easily as a man.
Signs, signs, signs.
Juanita: Do you think that the truth will always prevail in the case of Great Pretenders?
Millenia: Always? Absolutely not. Many men take it to their graves, as is the case with aviator legend
Charles Lindbergh and CBS reporter Charles Kuralt.
Juanita: Where can your readers find out more about Great Pretenders and signs of cheating?
Millenia: They can get lost in a copy of “THE GREAT PRETENDER” and read more about the signs
at http://www.milleniablack.com
Juanita: When can your readers expect your next book?
Millenia: My second novel is called “THE GREAT BETRAYAL”, and at present it’s scheduled for
released in November 2006. The prologue will be up on my website in the near future so readers can
have a sneak peek!
Juanita: Thank you Millenia, for this very insightful interview. Are there any last thoughts you
would like to share with your readers?
Millenia: Yes – I chat with all reading groups that choose “THE GREAT PRETENDER” and want to
invite me to their discussion meetings! Just drop by my website to request chats, enter the contests,
or join my announcement list and the ‘Ask Millenia’ newsletter, where I respond monthly to questions
from visitors who think their mate could be cheating or living a double life……

There are countless factors that will make the gorgeous hair follicles on your head cast, the big one is hereditary hairloss. Male pattern baldness might well become a problem for as many as 4 in 10 of lads under the age of 34 years old. The standard bloke has beyond 90000 hair stands on their scalp and will probably quite easily drop fifty five to two hundred hair follicles throughout the day through brushing, bathing, and sleeping. This might often come across like too many but in fact it is average.
The abnormal rate of hair loss is when guys and girls are losing more hair follicles than what is coming back. And you will soon realise you have abnormal hair loss when you shockingly start to see your crown growing. It is always best practise to check with a hair care professional to make sure men and women are not seeing the side effects from any hair disorders or under vast illness.
The most common cause though is male pattern baldness. This happens when the hormones in your body force the hair strand follicles to die. This shrinking effect makes the hair unable to grow.
If you are fretting you might often go and communicate to a male pattern baldness specialist and explore what sort of hair loss you are seeing the side effects from and also learn what good hair strand loss treatments are available to folk. Read about hairloss from Advanced Hair Studio now.
