Eclipse Internet Urges Businesses to Take Action against Swine flu Risk

Swine flu has hit the UK in a big way and the government sees no respite from the pandemic in the near future. Government figures suggest swine flu cases are likely to rise later in the year, with almost 50 percent of the workforce staying away from work. Adding more misery to the already dwindling hopes of small businesses is a report by the National Archives and Records Administration, which says that 80 percent of the businesses are doomed within two years of a major disaster if they have no strategic back-up plan.

However, broadband provider Eclipse Internet has given a fresh lease of life to the small firms. The company has come out with a five-step questionnaire for business houses to access the vulnerability of their operations in case swine flu spreads in their premises. Thereafter, Eclipse suggests new and improved broadband products to companies to tackle any such calamity.

Business specialist of Eclipse Internet, Mark Thomas, said the swine flu attack showed that a majority of small businesses were not prepared to confront a disaster. He urged these small firms to take swift action against the swine flu risk.

The company’s spokesperson announced that the new broadband products were moderately priced and could be used in a short time, as they were user friendly. The representative added that Eclipse’s business support solutions allowed employees to work from home, while maintaining flexibility in operations and efficient communication between all the stakeholders.
