It may be that by paying homage to a god in their name, they managed to escape the wrath with their Rhino Wrap.

Thor, a HIA member, produce reflective foil insulation solutions for under-tile roof application, under-metal roof applications and wall applications. Thor Building Products Pty Ltd was founded in May 2000 by a group of investors for the purpose of developing a new manufacturing technology to formulate
foil insulation used in the external wrapping of residential buildings. Thor commissioned a series of production trials that led to the birth of the Rhino product range.

Rhino Wrap is poly-woven fabric technology that is cost effective, when likened with more traditional paper-backed foils, and superior in performance. Rhino Wrap is a non-reflective laminate of poly-woven fabric and aluminium foil. This product provides a protective skin against wind, rain and heat transfer when wrapped around the frame of a wall.

Making developments on the success of Rhino Wrap, Rhino Foil was developed, a new super strength light-weight building wrap. Rhino Foil is a pliable building membrane with low flammability with increased strength to prevent tearing prior to the installation of wall cladding. Rhino Foil enhances energy efficiency and in so doing helps to cut back greenhouse gas emissions by reducing heat gain and heat loss from buildings.

With the blended power of the thermal efficiency of spun glass fibre with the dust and moisture barrier of reflective foil. Rhino Blanket is a non-combustible product that eliminates the problems connected with condensation build up on the underside of the roof cladding. Also acting as an acoustic barrier it reduces noise from outside like rain and from inside by absorbing reverberant noise.
